FESTIVAL MARKET STALL, AMUSEMENTS & FOOD VENDORS
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
SITE ALLOCATION
• You will be banned forever from our events if you constantly harass or bully event staff for a particular space, entry to the event or any other matter before the event.
• Sites are allocated at the discretion of the Beef Week Organising Committee.
• We recommend that stallholders confirm participation as soon as possible to ensure site availability. It is expected that all sites will be sold one month in advance.
• The Beef Week Organising Committee reserves the right to allocate stall/ site locations as deemed practical and according to organising and site availability constraints by the event organisers.
• Beef Week is continuing with fixed-size site allocation. Sites are 3m x 3m, and the fee is payable per-site (e.g., if your stall is 6m x 3m, then you must pay for two 3m sites).
• Please be aware that Beef Week reserves the right to move stalls as required without giving a reason.
• Stallholders must comply with directions from the Beef Week Staff, Volunteers, & Security, or you will be asked to leave. You will forfeit your space & payment, plus be banned from future events
SCHEDULE OF FEES & REFUNDS
• Cost of Stall Sites will be governed by the fee schedule within the booking.
• In the event fees are paid, but no site is available, a refund will be provided.
• A fee must be paid per site allocated.
• There are no refunds other than the above-stated
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR SPACE:
• Space only
• You must supply your own furniture/marquee/tables
• We don't supply tents
• Please be aware your tent must fit into the allocated space.
• Stallholders must comply with directions from the Beef Week Staff, Volunteers, & Security, or you will be asked to leave. You will forfeit your space & payment, plus be banned from future events
DO I NEED PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?
• The market does not provide Public Liability or Product Liability Insurance for stallholders, so you will need to source your own insurance. Our insurance does not cover you.
• All stalls selling any sort of orally consumed product will require public and product liability to trade.
• Stalls selling skincare, makeup, massage, or beauty services like facials, etc., will also need public and product liability insurance.
• Failure to provide current insurance will result in no site allocation.
POWER – Only Available in Barker Street (Centre St End)
• Stalls requiring electricity connection must clearly indicate this requirement when registering their participation, including power details.
• All food stall operators and users of electricity-operated sites must provide their own certified (tagged and Tested) electrical cables and plugs, which will be subject to Council inspection if so deemed.
• Leads must be neat and tidy and not cause a trip hazard.
• Power needs to be requested at the time of booking.
• Any request for power on festival day will be declined
WATER:
• There is no water available on the sites. You will have to bring your own water supply if this is required.
WEATHER:
• The market is always on regardless of weather or varying aspects. It is up to the stall holder to decide whether they will set up in inclement weather. No refunds – you will forfeit your space payment.
ARRIVAL AND PACK-UP TIMES:
• Once you have booked a space, you will be allocated 30 minutes of unloading time.
• If you miss your allocated time, you will have no vehicle access and have to walk your items into the space.
• Late arrivals (after 8 am) will forfeit their stall.
• Packing up, you will be allocated a 30-minute loading time.
• Pack-up should be completed, and the stall holder should be out of the CBD by 5 pm.
PARKING:
• There is no parking for vehicles within the markets or road closure areas unless agreed upon by Beef Week Management
• Unloading and loading is 30 minutes only.
• It is expected that on the festival day, vendors comply with arrival times, including adhering to the times required to remove cars after stall drop-off.
MARKET TENTS OR UMBRELLAS:
• Tents are not provided with market booking. If you would like to have a covering, you will need to bring your own.
• It is not a requirement to have to cover. It is your choice.
• Tents and umbrellas must always be weighed down with suitable weights.
• It is the stallholder’s responsibility to keep the tent/umbrella from blowing or falling over while at the market. Any damage or injury is the sole responsibility of the stall holder.
• All market tents must be the correct size to fit the space purchased.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL:
• Rubbish must be removed and taken away by the stallholder.
• Rubbish bins placed throughout the market are for visitors. These bins are not for your product waste. This includes wrapping for racks, tents, and other equipment, products that you have not sold, coat hangers, etc…
• Stall holders must leave their stall space clean and rubbish-free on departure.
• You will be charged a clean-up fee if you have left items within your space.
CHANGE ROOMS:
• Stall Holders must supply their own change rooms within their space.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE STALLS:
• All food stalls attending any event in the Richmond Valley need to be registered with Richmond Valley Council.
• All food and beverage stalls must hold relevant health certificates and insurance.
• Food Stall Operators are advised that the Richmond Valley Council Health Officers will administer inspections during the festival operations. All compliance with all requirements is essential and is the obligation of the food stall operator.
TRANSFERS:
• There are no transfers or refunds for change of mind. This includes transfers to different locations, dates or people.
• Once a booking is made, it is final. "Changes of mind" includes anything preventing you from coming, whether planned or unplanned.
PROHIBITED GOODS:
• Products that may not be sold at our market stall events include live birds or animals, fakes or copies of designer brand names goods, weapons, items associated with the illegal use of drugs, or other items that the market management may consider unsuitable for the event.
• No offensive, counterfeit or unauthorised products may be sold.
PLAYING MUSIC:
• All music played from a portable music player must play at a low volume for the sake of other stalls around them.
• Management reserves the right to request stallholders turn the music down or off where necessary.

In case of emergency, please gather in the closest area to your space:
• Aldi Car Park on Graham Place
• TAFE Carpark on Barker Street
• Carpark behind ANZ on Simpson Parade
• Corner Centre Street & Canterbury Street
• Coles Carpark at Canterbury Street
MEDIA RELEASE AGREEMENT
I acknowledge that during Casino Beef Week, photographs, images or film may be taken of myself, either alone or in group shots. I agree to the use of the images or film and for their use in any of Casino Beef Week’s marketing, including but not limited to on their website, social media platforms and publications. I also agree that the photographs or film may be used by third-party media organisations in connection with reporting on Casino Beef Week.
Stall Holder’s Declaration:
• By applying and clicking, you have read the terms and conditions, it will be understood that you agree and accept these terms and conditions.
