Terms and Conditions – Youth Education Day at Riverside Farm 1. Event Overview The Youth Education Day at Riverside Farm is an educational event designed to provide school-aged children with an interactive and hands-on experience of farming, agriculture, and rural life. Students attend with their school or guardian, and all activities are supervised by qualified staff and volunteers. 2. Supervision & Responsibility A responsible adult, teacher, or school representative must accompany all children under 18 years of age. Supervising adults are responsible for the behaviour, safety, and well-being of their group throughout the event. Riverside Farm staff and volunteers will assist with activities, but are not responsible for the direct supervision of participants. 3. Risk Acknowledgement & Safety This is an outdoor event involving interaction with animals, farm machinery, and natural environments. Participants and their guardians acknowledge the inherent risks involved and agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions given by staff. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Hats, sunscreen, and water bottles are strongly recommended. Riverside Farm reserves the right to remove any attendee acting in a disruptive or unsafe manner. 4. Medical Information & First Aid Basic first aid will be available on-site. Attendees with known medical conditions, allergies (especially to animals, dust, or food), or who require medication must inform their school or guardian in advance and bring any necessary medication. Riverside Farm accepts no responsibility for managing personal medication or pre-existing conditions. 5. Photography & Media Consent Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional or educational use. Attendance implies consent for participants to appear in media used by Riverside Farm and Casino Beef Week Promotions Committee Inc., unless written notice is provided in advance, opting out. 6. Cancellations & Changes The event will proceed in most weather conditions; however, in extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, it may be cancelled or rescheduled. Schools and guardians will be notified as early as possible in such cases. 7. Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riverside Farm and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this event. Attendance at the event implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
