Before You Begin

  • This form is for Stud Cattle only (Saturday 30th May, Casino CBD) 
  • You can register multiple cattle in one submission
  • Each animal must be entered individually with full details
  • Entry fee is $16.50 per head (Stud Cattle)
  • All entries must be completed and paid at time of submission

Classes are based on a range of factors including weight, age, and category. Please select the class that best fits your animal.

Summary

Cattle Conditions of Entry 2026
1. Entries close Monday, 12 May 2026 at 9:00am. 2. Entries for junior classes are open to exhibitors under 18 years of age or as a school group. The junior exhibitor must prepare and present a steer or heifer. 3. All led steers must be MSA registered. Each vendor must hold current MSA Producer Registration and provide an accompanying MSA Vendor Declaration (MSA V-DEC). 4. Led steers and heifers must be presented for weighing and mouthing between the designated times on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. Bulls to be presented for weighing 6:00am Saturday 30th May. 5. Only polled (no scurs) and cleanly dehorned (not tipped) steers will be accepted. Fixed nose rings must be used and correctly secured. Nose rings must not be removed under any circumstances. Steers will be disqualified if nose rings are removed. Grips or clips are not permitted. 6. Led Steer Carcases will be processed at Casino Food Company and judged using the MSA Carcase Competition System. 7. HGP-treated cattle will not be accepted in. 8. Exhibitors must hold public liability insurance extended to include attendance at Casino Beef Week. A Certificate of Currency (minimum $10 million cover) must accompany the entry form. 9. The National Vendor Declaration (and any other livestock documentation required at the time) must be provided to the Auctioneer prior to weighing — not to the Casino Beef Week office. NLIS tags are required. Please refer to the example form included in the program. 10. All exhibitors must comply with Casino Beef Week biosecurity requirements and applicable NSW biosecurity regulations. Livestock may be subject to inspection. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to any animal that presents a biosecurity risk or does not meet required health standards. 11. All cattle must be handled, prepared and exhibited in accordance with accepted animal welfare standards. Any exhibitor found mistreating livestock or failing to meet welfare expectations may be disqualified and required to remove animals from the grounds. 12. Led Steers and heifers will be sold c/kg carcass weight, not live weight. All cattle entered must be processed. No refunds will be provided on entries. 13. The winner of every steer class will be eligible for Champion Steer. Specialty classes will be judged and run alongside their applicable general class. 14. All steers must be tied in the designated area on sawdust. 15. Stud cattle age will be age as of the 1st May 2026. 16. Exhibitors accept all risks and liability for any injury, loss or damage and will not hold Casino Beef Week Promotions Committee Inc. responsible for the loss, mis-delivery or damage of livestock. 17. By entering, exhibitors acknowledge that photographs, images or film may be taken during the event and may be used for Casino Beef Week marketing and media reporting purposes. 18. The Committee reserves the right to reject entries, restrict entry numbers per competitor, combine or alter classes, or amend these Conditions of Entry at any time to maintain the standard and integrity of the competition. 19. All prize money will be paid into your nominated bank account electronically. 20. By submitting an entry, exhibitors acknowledge and agree to comply with all Conditions of Entry
