Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility & Contact Person
1.1 The contact person for this application must be over 18 years of age and will be required to accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all members of the act.
1.2 Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the entry form.
1.3 Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during all busking performances.
2. Applications & Scheduling
2.1 Applications will close on Friday, 15th May 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
2.2 Once all applications are received, you will be notified by email of your allocated performance location. Please monitor your email for this notification.
2.3 Entry to the competition is free. All entrants must perform a minimum of 30 minutes on at least 3 days from Monday to Thursday. Competition judging will take place during this period.
2.4 The top 3 winners will be notified on Thursday afternoon and will be required to perform live on stage on the morning of Friday, 29th May 2026. Exact times and locations will be confirmed.
3. Busking Definition & Equipment
3.1 For the purposes of this competition, "busking" includes playing a musical instrument, singing, magic, juggling, mime, dance, puppetry, performance art, or other theatrical/visual performances approved by the Council.
3.2 Performances must not receive payment or reward other than donations from the public or cash prizes awarded by the competition.
3.3 Electrical equipment/outlets may be used only with approval from shop owners or business operators for power access.
3.4 No electrical equipment/outlets will be supplied by the organisers, except for stage performances on Friday, 29th May 2026.
3.5 Performers are responsible for supplying and maintaining their own equipment. The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to equipment.
4. Safety, Conduct & Public Liability
4.1 All performers participate at their own risk. The organisers accept no responsibility for injury, illness, or harm to persons during performances.
4.2 Performers must conduct themselves in a safe, responsible, and respectful manner at all times. The organisers reserve the right to stop any performance deemed unsafe, inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive.
4.3 Performers must comply with local council regulations, including reasonable noise levels and not obstructing footpaths, roads, or business entrances.
5. Content Restrictions
5.1 The display, promotion, marketing, or sale of any political, offensive or contentious items is not permissible.
6. Competition Judging & Prizes
6.1 Prizes for the competition will be cash awards. Cash prizes are non-transferable and must be claimed as stated by the organisers.
7. Media & Promotion Consent
7.1 By entering the competition, you consent to photographs and video being taken of your performance.
7.2 The Casino Beef Week Promotions Committee reserves the right to use images and video for promotional purposes in perpetuity, including by third parties in relation to the promotion of Casino Beef Week.
8. Organisers

9. Weather & Event Changes
9.1 The organisers reserve the right to cancel or modify the event schedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
10. Contact Requirement
10.1 You must supply a valid email on the entry form; entries without a valid email will not be accepted.
